Breeder Award Information
NAVHDA’s Breeder Awards were created by the leaders of the organization in an effort to foster and reward selective breeding. In addition to recognizing progeny that attain consistent test scores, NAVHDA strongly promotes DNA testing of all dogs along with hip certification, which is incorporated into the advanced Breeder Award levels. The stringent criteria for the various awards and the list of Breeder Award recipients provide prospective puppy buyers in-depth insights when identifying reputable breeders.

Rufnit Alex received a NAVHDA NA Prize I (112/112) at six months of age.
Rufnit Alex is the SECOND of three North American bred Braque du Bourbonnais
to receive the PERFECT score of 112/112 for the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test
in addition to being the FIRST United States bred Braque du Bourbonnais to receive the Prize I NA title at six months of age.
Rufnit Hattie also holds a PERFECT score of 112/112 for the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test
at seven months of age and Rufnit Jeni a 112/112 at eight months of age.
Rufnit Alou received a NAVHDA NA Prize I (110/112) at six months of age.
Rufnit Alou is the THIRD United States bred Braque du Bourbonnais
to receive the Prize I title with a score of 110/112 for the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test.
Her full and half-sibling’s (progeny of Rufnit Kennels) also hold NAVHDA Prize I NA titles.
Rufnit Amos received a NAVHDA NA Prize III (94/112) at six months of age.
Rufnit Axel received a NAVHDA NA Prize I (110/112) at eleven months of age.
Rufnit Axel is the FOURTH United States bred Braque du Bourbonnais
to receive the Prize I title with a score of 110/112 for the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test.
His full and half-sibling’s (progeny of Rufnit Kennels) also hold NAVHDA Prize I NA titles.
